In person opera is returning as opera houses across the mid-Atlantic re-open, beginning this Fall/Winter and intensifying next Spring. Below is an overview of the 2021-2022 season, enabling a quick look for planning purposes; be sure to check which COVID restrictions might be in place at the time and venue you wish to attend. Perusing the list, I think you will see that there are more opportunities in the mid-Atlantic to enjoy live, staged opera this coming season than you might have imagined, and It has been a long wait: Enjoy!
